Geotextiles in Geocomposite Materials

Geocomposites are engineered materials that combine different geosynthetic components into one multifunctional system. They are used in applications where drainage, reinforcement, erosion control, separation, filtration or protection need to work together within a single technical solution.

Our needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles can be integrated into geocomposites as functional layers for manufacturers and system integrators. Combined with drainage cores, grids, nets, meshes, membranes or other technical materials, the geotextile helps improve the performance and durability of the final composite product.

In drainage systems, the geotextile supports filtration by retaining fine particles while allowing water to pass into the drainage core. In reinforcement combinations, it helps separate soil and aggregate layers while the grid contributes structural support and load distribution. In erosion control products, the geotextile helps prevent soil migration beneath protective layers while maintaining controlled water flow.
